BIG BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Trump kicked Zelensky out of the White House. TRUMP shouted ⚡: "Either Make a deal or we are out. You are in big trouble. You are not winning this" ZELENSKY responded in equal measure 😳 : "We are in our own country, and we have stayed strong all this time" TRUMP : "Zelensky disrespected the US. He doesn't want peace" Reporter said lunch originally prepared for the leaders would now be eaten by the press staffers. BIGGEST Heated argument of the decade !!

Announcing a new @Totogi service: Churn Prediction. An AWS SageMaker ML model optimized for telco churn, available as a service. Available as an API call, add it to *any* BSS or interface The API returns a value of a subscriber’s likeliness to churn. Real-time; combine it with next best offers to stop a sub from leaving.

@TelcoDR The relative standardisation of cell phone form factor helped create the current platform based ecosystem but it also limited the development of varied use cases. Data as dumb pipes is a symptom of this problem.

@TelcoDR Yes...nice to see someone try this. FB/Meta wasted the WhatsApp opportunity. Jio in India is trying but not hard enough. #twitter #ElonMusk

@GujaratHistory I have been reading @sanjeevsanyal 's The ocean of churn. Brilliant book which talks of cultural exchanges across the Arabian sea. No wonder 'Attan' is similar to Garba. Thanks for sharing.

Dancing in circle is common in Asian & African countries. There had been cultural exchanges between Afghanistan, Punjab, Sindh, Iran & Gujarat since ancient times. Watch 'Attan' a #Pashto (Pathan) dance like our Garaba dance.

Very few people know how apps make money. Fewer understand that Apple is a piece of shit for pulling the absolutist, crappy move called ATT which crippled the industry. Here's a simplistic explanation on how millions of app developers monetise in the ~$100B+ app ads market:

ICICI bank Q3 FY22 Good results. NIMs peaked out as of now. Asset quality improved. Market might give it a thumbs up. Also I think the best retail tech amongst the banks.

@paraschopra Very interesting .... IMO Rama, Krishna and Pandavas all end up as tragic figures inspite of their obvious merits. Most Indian philosophy/mythology preps us for life by telling us that life's not fair. IMO karma, reincarnation help justify the unfairness.

8/ Overall, I found core ideas refreshing. But the book is very US centric and was repetitive. Meritocracy is something I hadn’t questioned before, but thanks to this book, now I do.

This #book talks about how meritocracy shouldn’t be the goal of a society. It’s a controversial idea but arguments that the author makes are worth analysing. My notes and thoughts in 🧵

Preet Bharara, Rajat Gupta and now Raj Ratnam all have written their own books. Everyone is innocent. No one committed an iota of crime. "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently" - Mr Buffett
