Last weekend, I was fortunate to be invited to the PGL CS2 Major in Copenhagen. I haven't played CS for a long time, but I still have a general understanding of the game itself from playing years ago with my friends. What I was mostly interested in was getting a feel for the event and understanding how Esports has been able to grow. My immediate impression was that events like this have given millions of people with the same interest a unique way to socialize, which in the past wasn't possible at this scale. Gamers who have been friends through the game for years now have these events to meet up and enjoy their shared passion and build fan bases, just like with any other sport. It also seems that the organizers know their audience really well, and the entire setup for the fans ensures they will have a fun time. The fans not only come for the CS action but also for the 'party atmosphere' and to see their friends - and the organizers know this. All in all, it was a fun experience for me as an athlete experiencing an event like this, and I think a lot of sports can learn a thing or two from Esports. 😉 Sidebar: It was interesting to observe the athletes on a big stage like this. Even though it wasn't the first time for them, it was clear that some of the athletes weren't as comfortable being in front of thousands of people in a big arena. Mentally preparing the athletes to perform at events like this will, in my view, be a really important part of this world in the future as well. Thanks a lot for having me! @pglesports

To me you will always be the symbol of hard work and dedication. You are a unique person and I have no doubts about you being able to utilize your talent and working ethic in another team. Thanks for the laughs and everything you have sacrificed for me, the team and Astralis 🙏

Anyone with a basic ability in math is probably able to figure out that I won't be in the LEC for the upcoming winter split While it's a big dissapointment, my confidence in my ability has never been higher and I will work hard in the meantime to show that im deserving of a spot.
