I've got a portfolio! I haven't had one in 5 years. They say designing your own site is really hard. And let me tell you they're right. This is the 3rd or 4th version. But, I'm really happy with where it landed and it's so fun to have my own little corner of the internet.

The last 3 weeks at Webflow were so fun. Collaborated with Mike Birkey, Claire Allison, and Alexander Diner on a branding project and learned so much. I love being in a discipline where you can have a decade of experience and feel like you're only scratching the surface.

Wild. Something I designed on my computer in Chattanooga is like 100ft tall in Las Vegas.

@jdreeves Romie by Margot Leveque is beautiful. Not sure if I would call them inky but Items by Schick Toikka and Writer by Pangram Pangram are gorgeous too.

graphic design is basically just like making fine art but you have to justify every move you make to 26 people for like 6 months

Took a small break when the series of shoots ended. We have one shoot left, and we're deep in post production. It's been a ride, and I've been pausing and unpausing production lines to other projects. Can't wait to talk about it when we resume @ReleaseNotesPod next Friday with @hunterhammonds

@pqoqubbw Here's two things that might help? One is fetchpriority=high, which tells the browser to prioritize loading the image. The other is to use preload, which tells the browser to fetch the image right away instead of waiting for it to parse it later on the page.

what’s the best way to display a heavy image? i have a background image (~5 mb) and need to show it as fast as possible while keeping the best quality also, i have both light and dark themes if i try to compress it, it ends up looking terrible how do you usually handle this?
