Hay que combatir la falacia de que USA le da o paga a PR con fondos federales. El 75% de lo que se recibe los pagamos y luego nos devuelven una fracción. Luego sus empresas se llevan 35 mil millones sin pagar impuestos en PR para luego pagar las campañas politicas en USA.

Las empresas estadounidenses no son quienes mas empleos crean sino las pymes. Y la mayor parte de los empleos que crean las empresas foraneas son parciales.

Puerto Rico never asked to be part of the United States. What we truly want is a better economy and real opportunities for our people on the island not just exposure or recognition for our talent, but the chance to build a stable and prosperous future where we come from.

@VibeWithJuls Hey! A lawyer and major in political history here 👋🏽 the reality is that No,We are not. Legally PR belongs to the US but is not a part of it. It is a colony.Thats why the SCOTUS have said repeteadly that we are foreign in a domestic sense. Thats why we can opt for independence 🙂

@jesuskresto PR belongs to but is not a part of it. That’s the legal definition of our political status. We are a colony. Only states are part of the US. We are not one of them. The SCOTUS have said repeteadly that we are “foreign in a domestic sense”In conclusion, We ARE NOT part of the US.
