The Hacienda on Arran Street. One of the city's quirkier bars, where you'll have to run the gauntlet with Shay, the onwer, to gain entry. Soon to be dwarfed by some pox of a hotel, like everything else good in this bleedin city.

Anyone for a pint of O'Connell's Dublin Ale? The Liberator's beer had a long and confusing history, with several breweries taking on the name/brand over the years. Its early history is especially interesting though, and the tensions between D O'Connell and the Guinness family.

So @SkyIreland are still not engaging publicans. I pay over €2350 a month for sports packages they have a strict 3 month cancelation policy. They have no content and the pubs are closed. I promise to use that €7k to help out my staff if we can get them to do the right thing.
