NEWS: Tesla has changed their Mobile Connector and Wall Connect prices on the online vehicle configurator.
New pricing:
• Mobile Connector: $250 (up from $230)
• Wall Connector: $450 (down from $475).

@BeardedTesla You should really get an electrican to install it up to code. I can see at least 2 violations, wires cut too short (NEC 300.14), not on a GFCI breaker (625.56).

Update from the box office: First allotment of 10,500 tickets for Indy’s NBA All-Star Saturday Night 2024 sold out. In 55mins.

A lot of very unhappy fans. I’m outside Lucas Oil Stadium and they’ve had several issues. Only four customers bought tickets in the first 20mins, only singles available after 36mins. Two security guards then came out at 2:43pm. Just another typical failure by @Ticketmaster.

@BeardedTesla You would be better just ditching the nema 14-50 for your wall connector and hardwiring it. Tesla says not use cord and plug type connections as those cords from Home Depot/lowes are not rated for continuous use.

This could have, and probably should have killed me. Here is what I speculate was the failure. PLEASE look at your equipment at home so this doesn’t happen to you.

@BeardedTesla I agree that they installed the wrong outlet. It could have also been the reinstall of the outlet after you installed your maxicharger. Maybe someone can correct me on the 2017 code but the Nema 14-50 should have a GCFI breaker, but that can cause issues with chargers tripping
