@JaleneCooke @Schneider_CM “Salt” in the chemistry sense, not food sense. A salt is an ionic compound consisting of a cation and anion. Electrolytes are salts that contain the minerals sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium, etc.

@Schneider_CM "Electrolytes" is a fancy term for salt. On one hand, they tell you to eat less salt, then they tell you to make sure to get your electrolytes. Most of the time, you could just drink salt water, or down a half teaspoon of salt, and it would do the same thing.

I have always believed "electrolytes" were a thing completely made up by companies trying to sell sports drinks. That is, until this weekend, when I figured out my lack of consuming them has been causing me headaches for over a year. You win, corporate hydration!

As a gay person, I have always been treated better by conservatives than liberals. Liberals treat gays like a caricature of what they think a gay person is, and conservatives treat each gay person like an individual person.

@10past7 @trempiui @iChangedMyName9 @Cartidise Nobody is needing to restart their phone so much that they’re majorly inconvenienced by the lack of an official restart option. If they are, they need a new phone.

@dogmomtweets83 @DerekCressman Which is not what I’m arguing about. My argument is that the auto-pen in and of itself is not a tool meant to be used for forgery and has legitimate uses.

@dogmomtweets83 @DerekCressman These are two different issues. Issue one is specifically the use of it in relation to Biden. Issue two is whether its been used legitimately by other Presidents, which it has. Trump has even admitted to using it. It’s nothing more than a way to sign lots of things not by hand.

@jaredmichael_b @DerekCressman It has not been used by most presidents. And they are investigating Bidens use of autopen because his jello brain didn’t remember what he ate for breakfast two minutes ago let alone signed yesterday. He was being told one thing, and someone else was vas being signed, or worse.

@omgsidewalks Because sometimes its about presenting information. Does it matter the manner of production if is accurate and pertinent?

@QResearcher95 @DerekCressman This is the important part—consent. We can argue back and forth about consent; the auto-pen itself isnt the problem, its using it to commit fraud.

@DerekCressman Which was never the problem, the problem is that under Biden, his staffers were using the auto pen to sign things without consent from the president

@angipicklz @DerekCressman For as long as it has existed, almost every president has used it. Did you think they personally sign every single copy of thousands of pages of documents?

@DerekCressman No..elec signature is not auto pen it’s about the parties and actual notice. so you’re just trying to misinform. if they flew over to sign it, you’d have a problem with the money they spent on the trip. Don’t you have UFC on the White House lawn stuff to worry about?

@poopinnator @DerekCressman So you admit that there are legitimate reasons to produce someone’s signature, with their approval, without them physically being in that location?

@dogmomtweets83 @DerekCressman The normal and proper use obviously requires the knowledge and consent of the person, just like docusign. It would be fraud, otherwise, in either case. It’s dishonest to imply that any use of an auto-pen is forgery when has been properly used by most Presidents.

@DerekCressman Docusign. Like the banks use for your car loan. Autopen is different. You wife keeps a machine in the closet and signs for you and you don’t know it. Big difference.

@ThisIsTopG @DerekCressman Is it within your ability to get that “auto pen” isn’t some kind of forgery factory? It produces the person’s signature without the need for them to physically be there, but still requires them to authorize it. So if the agreement wasn’t physically in front of him…

@jaredmichael_b @10past7 @iChangedMyName9 @Cartidise then siri ai would be a convenience too, no one will die if it was removed and they have to find stuff on their own. that’s not OP’s point. he didn’t say it’s not a convenience feature dude.

@TurboSilkWorm Correct, the flu vax cannot infect you with influenza. People mistake the reaction of their immune system with being actively infected—your immune system can’t tell the difference. However, in the future, if you are exposed to a live virus, your immune system knows what to do!

@10past7 @trempiui @iChangedMyName9 @Cartidise Again, I get that. But the point I’m trying to make is that a “restart” function is a convenience, not a necessity. There exists a way to shut down the phone and then turn it back on; “restart” is just a shortcut. No one is dying because they have to press the power button.
