in a world where stronger encryption is increasingly a necessity for both security and privacy, you can always count on Meta to go as low as absolutely possible, this time planning to disable end-to-end encryption in may 2026

@tomorrowland @TMLthailand_ and still unable to get passed this stupid error when attempting to enter the shop. why is this so difficult in 2026?
English

@tomorrowland hey @TMLthailand_ maybe you oughta communicate something about this utter shit show of a ticket sale you have going on right now. the lack of status updates, and no word about a single thing, is quite disconcerting for such a major event. it is disappointing to hear crickets
English

finally after 2+ hours in the queue for Tomorrowland Thailand tickets i am in, but sadly the Full Madness Comfort Passes are showing as "on hold"🤬 wtff @tomorrowland?
English

@BBQsauce_KM @jark @IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland I waited over 3 hours, checked out a dozen times with errors all over the place, but finally got a confirmation email
English

@jark @NotABastard__ @tomorrowland Yep, just kicked out into the queue again. Giving up now.
I was debating figuring out stay + transport for the group anyway, so I guess that's the route. Hopefully they get this sorted, and at least one of us gets access to the sale next Saturday.
English

@IAmTaylorWest @jark @tomorrowland At least you got till there, been waiting since the timer started and still in queue. Fucked up big time in managing queue tkk
English

@IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland this is what happens when a vendor goes the cheap af route rather than a tried and true payment processor like Stripe, and the other well known, well used products out there

From Claude Code in regards to the console errors on the Tomorrowland shop page right now...
"Yeah, their backend is pretty thoroughly broken right now. Here's what's going on:
The core problem is CORS failures across the board. Every single API call from thailandpackages.tomorrowland.com (the frontend) to shop-frontend-api-real.tmrl-th-svc.com (their backend API) is being blocked because the backend isn't returning the required Access-Control-Allow-Origin header on preflight (OPTIONS) requests. This means the browser is refusing to let any data through — it's not just slow, the purchase flow literally cannot function.
What's actually failing:
The /purchase_flow endpoint (GET) — can't load or create a purchase session. The /purchase_flow_realuser_heart_beat endpoint (POST) — this is their keep-alive to hold your spot in the queue/session, and it's failing repeatedly on a loop. The /latest_submit_payment endpoint — 404, meaning their payment submission route doesn't even exist or isn't deployed. The /event/.../assets endpoint — can't load hotel/ticket inventory at all.
Why this is happening:
Most likely their backend service is either crashed, overloaded, or was redeployed incorrectly under load. When a server goes down or gets overwhelmed, it stops responding to OPTIONS preflight requests, which browsers interpret as a CORS block. The START TMRL FALLBACK message in the logs confirms their frontend detected the primary API failure and tried to switch to a fallback — which also isn't working.
The Facebook pixel CSP violation is a minor side issue (they forgot to whitelist connect.facebook.net in their Content Security Policy), but that's cosmetic compared to the rest.
Bottom line: This isn't a you problem. Their API server is down or buckling under purchase traffic. The infinite retry loop you're seeing (await in t repeated dozens of times) is their frontend desperately retrying the same failed requests over and over, which is probably making things worse for everyone by hammering an already-dead backend. Classic festival ticket sale meltdown — not much you can do except keep refreshing and hope they get their infra sorted."
English

@IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland yup, seeing that one and this one:
Payment peparing error , please try again later
Unknown error
its just so fscking stupid. there is no world where processing credit card payments in 2026 should be this difficult
English

@jark @tomorrowland Over and over... seeing maybe 5 different errors. Can't even see a payment screen to enter info. Clusterfu*k

English

@IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland i too am in thailand at the moment, and running into this issue
English

@jark @tomorrowland I'm guessing they're relying on some local payment processor who didn't integrate properly and/or has issues with international payments.
Meanwhile, I'm IN Thailand (live here) and haven't seen the shop page once - while others have cycled through multiple times
English

@IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland yeah, i got this error:
2 persons are required, but only 1 persons are found ACCOMMODATION_INVALID_DATA_008
and have no idea how to fix it because there is no way to fix it. nothing editable. just a complete trash payment processing system
now i got kicked back to the queue
English

@jark @tomorrowland We have 5 groups from all over the world waiting. 3 have gotten in and ALL have been kicked out again TWICE after 5-7 payment failures each. All random website glitch payment issues, not CC or bank errors.
English

@Elfoo69 @tomorrowland apparently "on hold" means there are products in peoples carts and they have not checked out, but there are no additional products available. this is for hotel rooms and the passes themselves
English

@IAmTaylorWest @tomorrowland agreed. its a complete shit show sadly. wish there were some comms from the organizer
English

@jark @tomorrowland It's such a shit show for this edition. Nothing like how the Belgian edition is usually handled. Why the hell haven't they said a single word on any social channel or anywhere??
