First hole cut for opening weekend! It’s been a long time coming.

First mow on our 2 week old TifEagle greens this afternoon. Beginning to knock down clumps and smooth out the surfaces. Excited to watch them grow in.

Pre plant fertilizers going out this afternoon before greens sprigging commences tomorrow.

Finished sodding around 12 green today, with the final touches being worked on around 13 green. 14 is starting to shape up with new bunkers going into place.

Gravel layer going in the 12th green this afternoon.

Work progressing on #8 with sod going down around the green and prepping #6 for sod later this week. Zoysia has also starting going down on tee boxes.

Another productive week, with more greens complexes coming to life with the addition of new plantings along our shop road and beginning to hydroseed new native areas.

First bit on sod is on the ground. Tahoma 31 aprons and Tiftuf rough. Making progress!

@jarod_jac and I should have said. When the water freezes in the tube it turns clear. When it melts it turns back green.

We just checked our Frost Depth this evening. We are frozen down to 21" now. That is an addition of 1.5" in just 24 hours. #MEwx #Maine

Despite sub-freezing temperatures work continues on #1 shaping around the green and constructing new tee boxes.

Sleet is just blasting north here. Really tough for snow fans. Mainly at 1-2” across the Triad. Closer to 3-4” so far in Surry.

Early stages of the renovation progressing with the continuation of mainline installation, grading for new pickleball courts, and the excavation of all old bunker sand.

Keep an eye on these showers. A few people reporting seeing some snowflakes falling, especially in Surry County.
