There's so much hate directed towards Sikh women online so I'm making a video series on Sikh texts talking about women. Here is part 1 youtu.be/4TIjSiD6YPM?fe…

I got two speeding tickets from the same Camera. First was going 64km in a 50km zone. Second was going 62km in a 50km zone. That's not even going fast but the tickets totalled a little less than $200. Bro, I only drive super slow now. Don't even bother me. Yesterday someone high-beamed me to speed up and I just slowed down even more. $200.

@gulanaricoconut Nope. You can't tell the difference. AI basically learns from human work and replicates it. And that's just today's AI. It keeps getting more advanced

@jasdeepsinghrh that’s wild! 🥲 I’ve been assuming that while AI can do a lot of things, it can’t replicate the human spirit/soul found in art, meaning you’d be able tell the difference but let’s see.…

I went with my Dad to get my cell phone repaired by a Muslim man my Dad knows. He said he would repair it after he came back from doing his Namaz. After he came back and fixed the phone, he told me that the fact that I have a full beard and turban is a really good thing and he was happy to see it and that I'll always respect my parents. There are those in the Sikh community that are telling others not to keep turbans and beards, but I had a religious Muslim telling my Sikh parents they did a good job with me because I keep my beard and turban.

@gulanaricoconut You should publish if that's your goal. I self-published two books and I'm working on my third and fourth. I do short-story fiction and poetry.

i really believe posting on X has made me a better writer the character limit forces you to practice conveying ideas — including dense & complex — in the most simple/concise way possible because there’s no room for fluff also got me into the habit of using symbols (&, +, >>) 🤣

@EatTheRich2025 I had back pain that was really bad. Hot yoga really helped. I also use an Accupressure mat and a psoas release tool

Every immigrant community faces problems when their second generation children hate their own people and try to appease racist narratives of fitting in. But South Asian, Punjabi/Panjabi and Sikh second generation children are especially vulnerable. I explore these themes in my books. I work at a large Canadian Airport. I love when passengers arrive and their friends and family greet them. But seeing Punjabi/Panjabi students pick up their parents from the airport is always special. They often hug each other and weep for what seems like forever. I know it's been years since those kids have hugged their parents. They gave up everything to come here. They've worked harder and suffered more than most people realize. It's always beautiful to watch the emotions. Gurprasaadh

@EveryBitCrazy I had an anxiety since I was little. I'm finally getting over it. It was a process. You can do it. Just focus on your goals and be conscious of your anxiety and reason with yourself on why you can overcome it. I have an entire mindset routine that I go through that really helped

@meharkpowar I appreciate that. Thank you. I'm doing OK. The tweet was more so for people I see who are struggling. But just like anyone, I sometimes have to collect myself too. I appreciate your tweet.

I believe this is near Gurdwara Sri Bibhaur Sahib, where Chaupai Sahib was written. I visited here and that's when I realized the true colour of Punjab's rivers. But those are hills, the mountains I meant are the Himalayas which were visible in the distance during covid when the air pollution settled

Sometimes I imagine what ancient Punjab/Panjab looked like. Glacial rivers with a beautiful greenish-blue hue. Dense forests with countless species of wildlife. Tall mountains in the distance, stretching into the sky. What a beautiful place.

I've committed to doing at least "one hard thing" a day to increase my personal growth. Today's hard thing...assembling a children's toy for an acquaintance's baby based on picture instructions. Bro...the thing was like a DaVinci code puzzle but in the end I did it. I feel very accomplished.

One historical fact about Sikhs from Punjab that occurs over and over again in history is never giving up in the face of adversity. Today that still holds true. Gurprasaadh

I look at the challenges my Sikh ancestors had to overcome and it motivates me to excel. I'm doing a daily practice of doing at least one thing that I find difficult in order to condition myself to eventually achieve larger goals and ambitions. Small steps into giant leaps. Gurprasaadh
