If you don’t have access to it, it’s financial abuse no matter how much you spin it. At least she gets an allowance… what’s worse is having to ask to spend money everytime and not have an allowance. Being in the dark not knowing what’s in the bank and being made feel guilty all the time just spending the essentials like food. Im speaking for stay at home moms who are treated this way. Most look at it like she’s got it easy, but with kids she’s always working and always cleaning because in a relationship like that it’s expected. And it’s mental and financial abuse. the fact that you were president and have 0 understanding of how insurance works is a travesty for the US. insurance companies are a risk transfer avenue and that is it. if you force their metrics to intake people they would otherwise deny everyone in that plan pays with higher premiums. it shows that the US just wants to have someone who talks the talk but the US needs someone who can walk the walk too.

The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
