@KathyPe64402985 @TaraBull Businesses work on a margin. If you increase the price they are charging by increasing their taxes, they will have the same margin on a bigger gross. They won't make the same, they will make more.

@TaraBull The one thing you can count on in life is every tax or any charges from the government on businesses cost us more. Even if that business makes five billion dollars in profit they will raise their cost to Consumers so they can still make 5 billion profit.

"How dare you!" Democrat Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker rips critics of a plan to tax rideshare companies as her city faces a $300 million budget deficit. An Uber spokesperson said the proposal is a "consumer tax" that will be passed on to riders and make the service more expensive.
