It’s a great moment a teacher’s career when we realize that we don’t have to fill *every* moment in a class period w/ rigor.
Similarly, mature admins realize that their teachers don’t have to fill *every* moment w/ rigor.

The Manitoba NDP government is abolishing all subject requirements for K-8 teachers. They won't have to take basic subjects like math, English, science, or history.

@valdombre This is a mischaracterisation. All teachers will still learn how to TEACH Math in their Education degrees. But elementary teachers don't need to have studied Math in their undergraduate degrees. You don't need advanced Calculus and Statistics to teach Grade 4 Math.
