I am pleased to have received the Civil Service D&I award today for Advancing Gender Equality in recognition of our work in HO Gender Equality Network. I know my former Co-Chair Kerry O’Dea and GEN continue to deliver fantastic work and I am so proud of them and this recognition.

Today is my last day at the Home Office having started 17 years ago as an Administrative Assistant. On Monday I start a new exiting chapter at the Cabinet Office as Senior Civil Servant (SCS) in Diversity & Inclusion. A particularly important time to join this fantastic team!

Both mum and dad were NHS nurses and later ran a care home. Watching my partner working in the care sector makes me tremendously proud. Happy to help today with PPE logistics to make sure care home staff get what they need. Proud son/partner
