Obi-Wan Kenobi’s relationship to Luke Skywalker is the same as John the Baptist’s relationship to Jesus Christ. John the Baptist, baptized Christ, and was then murdered, but lived on with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and drove him forward on his mission. The original Star Wars had in it a message about resisting technology, but it was lost to sequels. When Obi-Wan and Luke enter the cantina, the bar tender asks them to leave the droids outside. Obi-Wan describes the lightsaber as a weapon from a “more civilized age”. In order for Luke to destroy the Death Star, he has to shut off his targeting computer. Right before Luke stops his attack on Vader in ROTJ, he looks at his hand, it has become a machine, and this is the point he realizes he doesn’t want to keep fighting. When Yoda uses the force to move the X-Wing in Empire Strikes Back, it mirrors Moses parting the red sea, or the scene in the Exorcist when Max Von Syndow gives his line “its the power of Christ!”. Han Solo is betrayed by Lando Calrissian at a dinner table and taken away by an empire and then scourged, mirroring how Christ was betrayed at the Last Supper. At the end of Empire Strikes Back Luke is tempted by evil and offered a deal by Darth Vader, and then hangs on an upside down cross for about 20 minutes, paralleling the pinnacle of the temple scripture in the Gospel of Luke. If you flip the image of Luke hanging upside-down on Cloud City, it looks like Luke is at the top of a Dome temple. Luke’s tearful departure to face Vader is reminiscent of Christ’s return to Jerusalem. When the Emperor is finally defeated he is picked up and thrown into a bottomless pit by Vader, paralleling the fate of the beast in the book of revelation. Disney cannot own Star Wars, because Star Wars was inspired by God. The Disney “Star Wars” movies are not Star Wars movies at all. Adam Sandler is named Adam, but he is not the same Adam from the Garden of Eden. Likewise, taking a piece of garbage liberal propaganda and calling it “Star Wars”, does not make it Star Wars. The Mandalorian and other new Disney films all rip off Japanese Anime now. Earth’s major religions reinforce that there are no more prophets, But I believe people like George Lucas and Stanley Kubrick were divinely inspired to make their films. And the parable of the holy spirit as the force has inspired many people to believe in God without even realizing it. Disney bought Star Wars on December 21st, 2012. The same day the world was supposed to end according to the Mayans. We need to give Star Wars back to George Lucas to reverse the damage caused to the world by Disney. The final scene of Return of the Jedi is based on the Transfiguration of Christ, where Jesus appeared as ethereal with his cloak white as wool, and Moses and Elias appeared next to him.
