Sending a check-in to your coach with none of your daily info filled out for the week is about as useful as rocking up to the mechanic & when they ask what the problem is, you stand there and go ‘🤷‍♂️’

If you repeat successful actions long enough, successful results follow. Most people do the above, they just skip the “repeat” and “long enough” parts.

People would rather stay in the dark than ask a question & risk looking stupid. It’s a quirk of human psychology. Our instinct for avoiding risks outweighs our drive for potential gain. Be willing to look foolish. Ask the question. The more you learn, the further you’ll go.

Lifting weights doesn’t make you slow. It’s the absence of doing things that makes you fast which is what makes you slow, NOT the addition of strength training. Being bigger & stronger is almost always going to be beneficial.

There should be a rule that you have to specify whether you’re part-time or not. Too many people out here coaching 1-2 friends on the side while working another unrelated job that portray themselves as full-time coaches. A 1st yr apprentice has more experience than this lot 😂

“I don’t have the energy to train after work” Damn, if only there was something we could do to improve our energy levels. Something that increased blood flow, contracted muscles & forced the body to get more efficient at delivering oxygen around the body 🤔

Reverse body dysmorphia is one of the goofiest things I see in modern day gym culture. Keep your shmedium youngla tshirt on, we wouldn’t have dared to post photos of ourselves looking like that. We’d of been bullied relentlessly 💀

If you feel like eating well & working out is too time consuming you probably need to reevaluate your life. All of us have 3 main priorities: - Health - Money - Happiness None of these are given to you without some time & effort.

Inspired by the avg American 🇺🇸 - low af activity levels, don’t walk anywhere - eat meals out all the time, don’t forget the large soda - don’t eat fruit or veg, that’s too filling - no physical hobbies, burns too much energy - only eat the fattiest cuts of meat for protein

Seeing trainers annihilate a client & think they’re doing something productive is some stupid shit. Any idiot can leave you sore af, that doesn’t mean anything. Training smart & training hard can be done synonymously. Balancing stimulus with fatigue is first year common sense.

To make serious progress with your physique development you need to stay committed long enough to complete each phase. This usually means: 1) getting to a lean start point 2) 6-12+months in calorie surplus 3) fat loss phase to reveal the progress

The fastest way to look big is to get lean. If you actually want to get big though, trying to stay lean will probably result in you leaving gains on the table. A lot of people try to do both at the same time & end up just running in place.

There’s a huge time-delay between when we start behaving like the person we want to be & when we become them. You will look & feel like an imposter long before the shoe actually fits.

2PPS bench 3PPS squat 4PPS deadlift If you’ve been training consistently for over 5yrs and you still can’t hit these numbers, you are doing something WRONG.

When you want to learn a new subject, start by getting a good understanding of the fundamental principles. This becomes a very important filter for you to then sift information from new people you discover in that field through. You NEED this bs filter more than ever online.

At less than 5 years in, you probably just need more size everywhere.

The idea of a specialisation phase is to bring up weak points. By definition, this implies that you already have strong points.

If you haven’t trained & eaten consistently for at least 5 years, you don’t need a ‘specialisation phase’.
