I once took a trip to Israel with several Kabbalah students, including James Van Der Beek. Here we are praying at the tomb of Joseph, the Righteous. It was a trip that ended up changing my life. He was incredibly kind and spiritual and full of love for his family and gracious to all those around him. It feels like he has been taken way too soon. May he rest in peace.

Everyone seems to hate it, but I absolutely loved AFTER THE HUNT. Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri… great performances, a thought-provoking script and great to see a movie shot on 35mm.

I was today years old when I learned that Patricia "oh look, it's my Christmas cactus!" Neal was married to Roald Dahl! ...AND that he'd written her stroke INTO a screenplay for her, and that the movie was SCORED by Bernard Herrmann. And that movie was called Night Digger. And it's playing on @TCM CREEPY CINEMA with @BenMank77 and @MaCantone. Fab!

Yes, I'm still here and still making my way (slowly) through a chronological read-through of @StephenKing's books. I've just made it to GERALD'S GAME and it feels like a new era in his writing. After the catharsis of killing off Castle Rock in NEEDFUL THINGS, this feels fresh. Like the cracking open of a brand new notebook. One where the first empty page dares you to write something different.
