Congratulations to Niels Oellerich for a superb defense of his doctoral thesis at @EUI_EU on how Poland managed to get developmental finance going while Romania did not despite the ideological crisis of neoliberalism there.

The next few weeks could begin a shift that would make the Democratic Party more attractive to more Americans for decades. My take:

My 3rd position after I finished my PhD at @EUI_EU, grateful to have the possibility to be in an amazing place (hopefully) for the years to come, after stays as postdoc at @MPIfG_Cologne and lecturer at European Studies @UvA_Humanities. Many thanks to previous colleagues...
