Notes on Today's fuel pricing adjustments:
— Petrol prices are up 16.1% MoM, while Diesel has increased by 24.2%, reflecting the pass-through of higher landed costs into pump prices
— The adjustment follows sharp increases in landed costs, with Petrol up 41.53%, Diesel up 68.72%, and Kerosene up 105.15%
— VAT on Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene has been reduced from 16% to 13% to cushion consumers from the full impact
— The government has deployed approximately KES 6.2B from the Petroleum Development Levy to stabilize pump prices
— One Petroleum cargo (MT Paloma) has been excluded from the pricing computation in line with prior directives
