Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel. Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door.
