@clairebubblepop The £49.18/week is just the cash part. Asylum seekers also get: free Home Office accommodation (rent & utilities covered), full NHS healthcare (incl. prescriptions, dental & eye care), free state schooling for kids + possible free school meals. Total taxpayer cost far higher.
