Day 8 Jay Alderete (1-0, 4-0 amateur) US Big fan of Alderete during his amateur run, and he recently made the jump to the pro ranks. He does need to move back down to 125, where he's better suited. Alderete is a nasty striker who's an in-your-face combination high-volume striker. If you like someone who attacks the body, he doesn't shy away from it. Big fan of his technical striking, his composure, and he can grapple when needed. Only 18 as well, so he's got a bright future.
