#valeg is about to vote on whether localities can protect & enhance tree canopy…the most effective tool in addressing heat islands, energy costs, air quality, & flooding. NOVA has most of these authorities but not the rest of VA. Hampton Roads & RVA take note.

Folks… How can we not agree to stop unnecessarily killing turtles? North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, & EVEN FLORIDA ALL require these devices on recreational pots. Now Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay remain as the place Terrapin will needlessly drown.
