Many of our wonderful chaplaincies in Paris are working hard to meet the needs of visitors during the Olympics. St Michael's is very close to the Concorde and are out each day distributing flyers and open between 3 and 5 to welcome people.

Just returned from a 5 day pilgrimage, walking from London to Canterbury with no money, tent, phone, or much of a plan other than to keep walking until I got there. It was a hard but peaceful & rich experience, through layers of history & miles of exquisitely beautiful nature…

Last week was intense, challenging, emotional, joyful, quite possibly life changing as well as life giving. So grateful for the friendships that will last a lifetime, the opportunity I was given to participate & already looking forward to Part 2 in October.

Good to gather in Paris and be joined by @AndrewPNunn as he leads Holy Week reflections at St. George’s.

In Holy Week, clergy from across our diocese gathered at Chrism Eucharists at Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Nice and Bern. At these services, Bishops bless the oils used for baptism, confirmation & anointing the sick, & all ordained ministers renew their vows.

Go to bed trying to get over jet lag and it’s a very noisy night, sounds like construction works and you wake up to find a major festival has been set up on the road right outside your hotel and it’s here all weekend. Not sure there will be much sleep tonight either 😂😴😳
