@Ivie43023349 Hi Ivie! I have noticed that teachers at the ECC only ever speak to students with kindness--no demands or yelling. They speak to them in an adult manner whenever possible. I think this helps to develop a sense of self-efficacy & contributes to a positive community!

@AbigayleJudd Hey Abigayle! What a cool experience! It's incredible what young kids are capable of when we give them the tools & scaffold when we can. There are many adults that still don't have mindfulness down quite yet, & these kids are getting it in a preschool setting! So neat!

I want to celebrate the moment of silence that my classroom teacher facilitated today. students were asked to find a comfortable position for their bodies and close their eyes. Introducing mindfulness at a young age is powerful. #celebratemonday #pstpln

Today, a child "played the drums" with 2 sticks for a solid 20 min on a plastic bucket, the fence, a tree stump, the grass, the flower garden, another child, etc. Being a drummer myself, I was absolutely elated, he was so fun to watch! #musicnerdandproud #celebratemonday #pstpln
