I signed up to that Reform 'Free Heating" scam and then immediately asked Reform UK to delete my data. If they fail to comply with my request within the legal timeframe, I’ll consider complaining to the ICO and potentially pursuing action under GDPR.

Long shot.
I remember as a kid, a film very late 60's, at the end, two women got into the control room of the Post Office tower and messed with the controls causing the revolving restaurant to speed up and fling customers against the windows. Any ideas what it was?

I thought if I was opted out on the electoral roll, politicians can't use my details to send me junk, so how have they bypassed it? I don't want Reform having my name and address, I didn't give them my permission.

Much of my career was s/w testing. This sort of thing is just going to get worse with companies & depts relying on AI instead of paying real people to test. (Not saying that's the problem here, I suspect it's pretty old tech that they were complacent about)
