Just an observation with the latest NBA Expansion/Seattle chatter: One thing that's noticeably different, is that this started to come to light in recent weeks with Gov. Ferguson having that Silver call publicly listed on his schedule.. Or Sen. Cantwell talking with my guy @ChrisDaniels_TV her interactions w/ the NBA. When the politicians start going out of their way or at least publicly saying "I'm talking with.." is generally because they know something's up or coming.. because they want to be associated with a potential big moment. I've seen it time and time again and HOPE to the fullest that's what's at play here.

Durability was a question with Ken Walker III after 10 missed games from 2022-'24. But he played in all 20 in '25, hardly appeared on the injury report and got better as the season went on, culminating with an MVP showing in Super Bowl LX. Worth noting as we ponder his future.
