KON ON THE CUSP: Kon Knueppel made six three-pointers in the Charlotte Hornets’ win over the New York Knicks last night, moving within eight of breaking Kemba Walker’s single-season franchise record of 260 set in 2018-19. He leads the NBA with 253 threes and has a chance to become the first rookie ever to finish the season atop the category. Knueppel has also helped the Hornets win five straight games – by an average of 25.4 points – and climb into the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference, tied with the No. 8 Orlando Magic and No. 10 Miami Heat.

My eyes don’t lie — this is the best Charlotte Hornets team I’ve ever seen. The standard of execution is so high. Good effort every possession, battle well physically, fully connected, completely unselfish, and loaded with skill. They’re legit.
