First listen of The Settling, first impressions: that was top tier.
I don't know really anything about the history so can't speak on that, but with what it did for the characters it was absolutely excellent.

Souring on this one the more I think about it. I'm not clear or not after the ending how much of it was supposed to be an alternative timeline and how much affects the "canon" timeline. I feel like this can only be an elseworlds story and that's how I was listening to it ...

Man this one is weird. I don't think it earns the liberties it takes or treats is returning character with anywhere near enough respect but... It's still surprisingly listenable. The dialogue flows really well, it's really well paced...

I thought the scene at the end was going to be a tragic scene to show how broken he was but... Nope... It worked. The bugs helped him somehow I guess.

@Vcom7418 It's not that they didn't internalize it or that they know he's evil once they're adults. It's how emotionally simple the conclusion is.

I hated this story so much. Using the Master and his hypnosis as allegorical for child abusers when he brings a bunch of teens into his thrall to do his bidding is an incredibly bold choice that it seems they were absolutely not ready to make.

The second entry in this trilogy is way better so far. Sixie is a huuuge dickhead in this one I love him.

I might start putting some thoughts about big finish stuff here as to not overwhelm my main account with it. I usually have positive things to say about big finish's output but did not like the story I checked out today unfortunately.
