Thursday Double sets the mood for the weekend 💥 Zenith Magic (T5🟠) flies home late for the Maestro Jimmy Fenwick @NewcastleDogs We are excited to see this Kirby quarter finalist over six bends shortly. Following that @Monmoredogs Zenith Quincy (T2🔵) produced his first win for the brilliant Kim Billingham Hine who nearly had the double up with Zenith Fotospor the line coming just too quickly for her. Quincy is targeting the Greyhound Trader Stakes @TowcesterOffice which he got beat a short head on Derby final night last year. No Friday runner for the first time in ages but a full slate in the Uk and Ireland tomorrow 4 in the UK all in opens @centralparkdogs ahead of the Kent Plate and in Ireland 3 go @shelbournepark 1 @LimkGreyhound and 1 @DundalkStadium with Kirby pointers everywhere. Zenith Racing UK 🇬🇧 Runners for Thursday 26th February 3 running @HoveRacing today for Team Rees, with the ever reliable Zenith Rocket in a particularly hot looking open. Rocket has won 9 from 16 so if you ever want a reliable dog on your side there’s very few better. Zenith Sultan and Zenith Eze go side by side in the final of the dual distance trophy. Another tough race with good dogs everywhere. Hove is peppered with great hounds on a Thursday. Over @NewcastleDogs Zenith Beauty and Zenith Mikmacker both go for maestro Jimmy Fenwick in separate A1’s this evening. Beauty has way over performed from our expectations. Mikmacker won in great style last time. We believe he will have a great summer even in opens, so always excited to see him run. Never knows when he is beaten. Over @Monmoredogs Zenith Hero goes back to 4 bends for Kim Billingham Hine, after the experiment to try 6 bends didn’t work out. He’s been a bit disappointing considering the litter he is from, but we are always hopeful of a breakout performance one day. Zenith Wonder - Isn’t he lovely ❤️ Ok ok we know it’s not quite the Stevie Wonder song title but he was actually named after the global icon. Wonder has really improved over the last few weeks and produced another fantastic run @NewcastleDogs to double up on his win from last week. Unfortunately, he pulled up a little lame at the pick up so we won’t see him for a few weeks but we are confident he will continue his upward spiral upon his return. We were quickly off the mark this morning at @NewcastleDogs with one of our old boys #PowerStation (T1) prevailing. He was nicely placed in second down the back and breezed in to the lead off the last, just holding off the fast finishing #FootfieldScar in 29.62 💪🏻💪🏻

Sad to hear the passing of the last English Derby champion at Wimbledon in 2016. Described by Paul Hennessy as ‘one in a million’ - he was part of the family at their Gowran, Kilkenny base, with them for 11 years. They’ll all miss Ted - a champion for Paul, Susan, Kevin and JT 🖤
