It was an absolute honour to be involved in yesterday’s launch of @TheStrokeAssoc Garden for Recovery by the inspiring Miria Harris, at @The_RHS Chelsea Flower Show! Such a beautiful, peaceful space for stroke survivors which will live on after relocating to @LeedsHospitals

@TheStrokeAssoc Thank you for response , the figures were very good. We’re they taken from , medical checks, pre op, etc. Or another source?.

@jaygee46 Hi John. Blood pressure checks are already increasing. Figures show there were 150,000 community blood pressure checks in May this year, more than double the 58,000 delivered in May 2022. The extra checks will prevent about 1,350 cardiovascular events every year.

I had the honour of attending Her Majesty The Queen’s State Funeral on Monday.She was a tireless champion of charities and a wonderful ⁦@TheStrokeAssoc⁩ Patron.The service was deeply moving, beautiful and sad. Deepest condolences to her family who continue to mourn her loss
