This expanded the money supply by 25%. That means in the 229 years that US Dollar had existed, in 2020 they printed 25% of all the dollars.

All of the previous government bailouts, money printing, and continued low interest rates sowed the seed for the next financial crisis, the 2020 pandemic.

When the housing bubble burst, it wasn’t over yet. The Fed lowered interest rates back to zero, and started monetizing government debt, and they bailed out the banks.
