Consider me a fan of Jay Hern after seeing @egherdbaseball make the trip down this week to San Diego for the Lions tournament. While the defensive actions behind the plate are still raw and will need some fine-tuning, the competitive edge and natural ability surely take over and allow Hernandez to make a serious impact that contributes to winning.
