Acting like the group lost nothing especially after its strongest and biggest contributor left just sounds more defensive than truthful. And let’s be honest, if ‘the number of members didn’t matter at all’ were truly believable, fans and media wouldn’t constantly feel the need to repeat it like a reassurance. He gave six years of consistency, pressure, performances, stability, and some of the group’s most defining moments. Turning everything he did into just ‘he already benefited enough’ is exactly why fans are upset. Respect shouldn’t suddenly disappear the second someone chooses a different path.
