@SunshinesDeluxe Anyone with a following over 10k can get free clothes I do it all the time 😭 there’s emerging designers in college or local who can make fire shit. Ive been on both ends as design + stylist. The resources changed but so has the desire to care about looking cunt

@jaykhendar Clothes aren’t always free, esp for certain artist, ESP now for “urban artist” like it’s a whole different world from when Kim came up. It’s ok to acknowledge that the barriers for entry have completely changed. Kim cannot be recreated bc the resources have changed.

@SunshinesDeluxe YOU DONT NEED A BUDGET if you’re really about it 😭 there’s free stylists and designers who will gladly work for the clout. Kim was blessed and the budgets were NASTY but she also had pull and influence that helped her when she didn’t have the coin.

@jaykhendar Yes, so she was making money and budgets were bigger, (back in the day) but she then overspent her money and went into debt. The new girls don’t start off with the same budgets anymore to allocate 😭 it’s genuinely not this difficult to understand.

@SunshinesDeluxe point was they aren’t linking good stylists , and that we are suffering through a fashion epidemic cuz the artists are not fashion girls. You could find a stylist that would work for the clout and still pull fire looks. Theres no effort b/c it’s not important to them anymore
