This has been something I’ve thought over as I try going back to writing on a blog or Substack. It seems full up of people who are writing such well thought out pieces but I’d be so much more interested to read about peoples lives, journeys, unique perspectives, traditions… not so much think pieces and pseudo-intellectual pieces.
Reading this has me giving myself permission to start doing just that

About this substack issue, I think more people should write personal essays not shitty articles. Write about your life, tribe, career, poems, interests, language and maybe shitty opinions not a piss poor attempt at societal issues with or no research.

I’ve moved so many times in my life. So many different areas, vibes, landscapes, people…. And get nervous every single time. Now it’s the biggest city I’ve ever lived in back to sprawling acres of rolling hills and heat.

There is obviously so much discourse surrounding the new movie and the book. Rightly so. I went to see the movie purely for enjoyment and wanted to see what they did with it. For what the movie was… I enjoyed it. The music, the sweeping violins and cellos. The cinematography.

I truly admire Scorpio ASCs who can fully embrace their Leo MC. It’s a very tricky balance with those two signs in particular bc Scorpios don’t trust anyone, let alone the world, by nature. Bedrock sense of self predates allowing the world to see you shine. She rocks 🤘🏼
