Hello Orlando! I’m here for #ATIA2024! Im ready to talk shop and learn what all the cool #AssistiveTechnology kids are doing. I have a couple sessions too on Saturday. One of Alexa and one of AT for aging population.

This week is prep for several upcoming sessions and trainings. One of my favorite things is a good rabbit hole as I pull data and resources. Today I’m learning that not everyone defines smart home hub the same way.

I need some clarification on document accessibility for Word. If I want an image next to a paragraph of text, is my only accessible option for layout “in line with text”? #a11y

Update: it gave me error when I tried to copy paste and entire hour’s worth of text. But after submitting in chunks it was fairly accurate and only the last paragraph needed heavy editing!

Trying out ChatGPT to edit auto-generated transcript for a video. So far, I’m impressed.
