@LinEmiya15690 @FacelessManTwit @TambovGlasser @vintagemapstore So yes both Ryukyuans and Ainu are genetically more Japanese than Yamato, who posses ~20% Jomon DNA on average (using the new Jomon samples). Southern Kyushu Yamato, which constitutes 85-90% of Ryukyuan ancestry, are closer to 30%.

The main ancestors of modern Koreans were primarily living around Liaoning at the time. So in a way you could say the Japanese were the original Koreans.
