This is Deena, my partner of 23 yrs who was diagnosed with Parkinson's over 2 yrs ago at 54yrs of age. At the beginning she took some time to come to terms with the diagnosis, however we now both go to the gym 4 times a week & our local @ParkinsonsUK support group every 2 weeks.

Life is pretty dam tough atm, waiting for OPH surgery because of a birth defect I never knew about. Unable to work due to the crappy symptoms. Just thankful I have some amazing people around me Right now my Mental Health is taking a battering because of it! 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

Wages growing faster than prices. Jobs up. Inflation down. Interest rates down. NHS waiting lists down. Houses and infrastructure unblocked. Free breakfast clubs rolling out. National Living Wage increasing. National Minimum Wage increasing. Defence spending increased. 2 million more NHS appointments delivered. Housebuilding to be at the highest level in 40 years. People to be £500 a year better off. The Tories blocked change for Britain. My Labour government is delivering it.

This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with….. today is exactly 6 months from having my brain tumour removed My life is so so hard but what I love is being back to work and I love delivering the best MH sessions in the world! I got told it will be three months after my ops to fully be ok but just recently told 12 months!!!! That latest message has challenged my mental health…..It’s hard is my life after 46 operations but I love helping people with MH issues and I will never ever give up!!!!! Today is the start of my positive recovery to challenge the demons and control the controllables !
