You don’t need to wait to feel inspired to create. If you want to be great at something, you have to put in the work. Not just talk about it. Creativity works a lot more like the gym than people want to admit. You don’t get stronger by showing up only when you feel like it. You get stronger by putting in reps, over and over, whether you feel like it or not. If you want to get better at shooting sneakers, you have to shoot… a lot, fail a lot, but practice a lot. Same pair, different angles, different setups, different ideas. You figure it out by doing it, not by thinking about it. These Travis Scott Olive 6s have been with me since 2021, and I’ve come back to them more times than I can count. Same shoe, different moments. When I look back at those early shots compared to the most recent time I shot them in 2024, the growth is obvious. Nothing changed overnight. I just put in the reps. If you want to get good at something, do the work. Talking about it won’t get you there. Complaining saying “ I wish I had this gear or that gear or this setup or that setup” won’t do anything for you. No excuse will ever be a substitute putting in work.
