Ain’t no way this AI-slop game is better than the game most people consider the best of the decade

@typesfast Fahrenheit is objectively better than Celsius because zero F is f'ing cold and 100 F is F'ing hot and a zero to 100 scale works! Also, ºC are too large. To adjust a thermostat to be comfortable you need to go to fractions of a ºC but single digits of ºF are fine.

@MoonDevOnYT 64 gigs of ram doesn't come close to runnung a decent coding model. The 200 bucks is likely better spent on claude code if you want to maximize for code quality output. Were it the 512 gig mac studio which can fully load deepseek then it could've been worthwhile

Before you pay $200/month for another month of Claude code...
What about just allocating that $200/month to Apple with a 0% APR?
Running a local model in a local agentic coding thing like CC
Ironic that the most souped-up m4 Mac Mini comes out to almost exactly $200/month, which is the same price as the Unlimited (Limited) Claude Code.
The only questions pending are, what model would you run, and what Agentic coding thing comes close to Claude Code?

@ToonSoulsGame The algorithm ignores you because you're doing a cuphead clone. Try harder bro

@airkatakana True, it’s a paradox. Vast input, but no emergence of original insight. Compression isn't creativity, and current models still remix rather than originate.Ask ChatGPT

@sistilli Not my experience with Claude. 3.7 has been excellent so far

Elon Musk's favorite supposed data expert, who he's retweeted at least a dozen times, claims she can only process 60,000 rows of data before her "hard drive overheats"
DataRepublican (small r)@DataRepublican
In my initial run, which processed the first 60,000 rows, I did not find these awards—my hard drive overheated long before I could complete a full pass through the database. In a later run, which I referenced in another post, I did identify two such awards. That discrepancy is a matter of sampling size, not an issue with the query itself. I’ll now attempt a full run, which should capture the awards you found.

Who's gonna be the first to do a modern remake? Can AI do it?

@BigSatoDontArt @IdahoBones While it too led me to living off of code, the horrors I witnessed during the internet's early, unfiltered days left me forever desensitized to most things
