@aa22396584 I had the same issue with lore getting lost/scattered, so with RPGST you can reference and plot documents or entities, so nothing gets lost. For each entity you can also attach assets, and export dialogue- ultimately to support game development processes.

World-building tools for RPGs are so underserved. Most devs just use wikis or spreadsheets and end up with inconsistent lore scattered everywhere. A dedicated toolkit for tracking factions, geography, timelines, and NPC relationships in one place would be a huge workflow improvement. What was the biggest pain point you were solving?

If AI could do everything you do, would you still be a gamedev? I just enjoy the process of creating something, and maybe that’s reason enough. #gamedev #ai #indiedev

I’ve never done pixel art before, and I decided to start developing my own pixel RPG, ‘Evenrift’. I still have a loong way to go until I get comfortable with these pixels 💪 #indiedev #gamedev #pixel #art #creative

Introducing Texel Splatting: Perspective-Stable 3D Pixel Art open source paper+code Most 3D pixel art techniques (e.g. t3ssel8r, ProPixelizer) snap pixels to a screen grid, which only works with an orthographic camera Texel splatting solves this for perspective cameras: first,

@tom_doerr I'm so torn with this. It looks great, but there's so much joy in hand animating sprites- but then again, that's just me. So I can understand people using this. It's one of those things that is tempting but I feel like at some point, will suck the joy out of creation.

@IndieGameJoe Absolutely beautiful. I love the concept of the changing camera- I've been considering something similar for my pixel game!

An indie studio is making a psychological survival horror game that lets you rotate the camera through hand-drawn pixel art environments. - Explore from 8 different camera angles - Survive with limited resources - Looks stunning It's called Holstin.

Using your own tools makes you notice all the little things that break your workflow. In my latest update to rpgstorytoolkit.com I added suggested numbering for IDs. #rpgstorytoolkit

So I built it- rpgstorytoolkit.com. If you're working on a story-driven game or project, I’d love to hear what would make this tool more useful for you. #rpgstorytoolkit

While working on my game, evenrift.com, existing tools didn't suit my creative workflow. Too many tabs, scattered data, constant context switching. I wanted one place to write story content, reference characters/items/events, and export clean files into a game pipeline

Finally feel like rpgstorytoolkit.com is at a good place to start beta testing! And more importantly, for me to start using it for real for my own game development project. #rpgstorytoolkit
