woke up to international media picking up last night’s senate shooting. this isn’t just a headline. it raises red flags about institutional stability and rule of law credibility. also carries real international implications: migration, reputation risk (e.g. ofws, visa scrutiny). when politics becomes a spectacle for self‑interest, the damage always lands on filipinos, not the performers.

That's because many of the brilliant and interesting political journalists in the Philippines are either underfunded, deplatformed, or killed.
