@htmx_org I love it, but I just wish there was some tooling around making it more discoverable. It's really hard to find out how to do some specific thing with it :-/ LLMs only help to much, they hallucinate a lot.

@BladeoftheS Would it really be only 4%? How could the average cost be cut so much that it would only take 4% of your pay? Unless, of course, we're dramatically healthier as a country. That said, insurance is a scam too

@ClementDelangue @cyrilzakka Imagine if we all converged on predicting protein structures and using our GPUs for drug discovery, the same way that we converge on new language models. Is there an idea there for a business or something already in place?

We need more open-source models, datasets & apps in AI healthcare. It makes it not only more likely to benefit everyone but also much much safer, controllable and respects your privacy! Great initiative by @cyrilzakka so that everyone can build their own open-source AI health tracker for $12. Let us know if you're building anything open-source AI healthcare and we'd love to help!

It saddens me how such an imaginative and creative show struggles to get a season 2, this is one of those shows that's gonna be cited as a main inspiration for movies and games 20 years from now, it's peak sci fi.

Preview of "Scavengers Reign" Season 2. Unfortunately, this new season has not yet been greenlighted. So the creators of the show & Green Street studio produced this concept trailer in-house. Full video >> catsuka.com/news/2024-11-0… cc @josephbennett00 @charleshuettner

Are Visual Language Models a game changer for OCR and the transcription of challenging texts ? @PandorAI1995 just published a lengthy report on @huggingface with one main catch: it's complicated.

I'm excited about this demo cookbook that drops soon. ColQwen2 + @vespaengine + FastHTML Hybrid retrieval and ranking that scales to billions of PDF pages. It combines extracted text and visual embeddings from the ColPali architecture. Fully Interpretable. Notice the highlight of the term _non in the image of the page. Excellent work led by @thomas_thoresen! 🚀

@DrFrancisYoung @SJLahey It makes modeling kinda complicated 🙃 in our catalogue we try store publication dates as time ranges, when there is metadata that somewhat quantities the "fuzziness" of the date. the manuscript in this case would probably match all years between 1100 and 1200 in queries.

@std_venom @htmx_org @wimdeblauwe main: planned for one of the next releases classes/filenames: nope, but you can just make a "module" class and have a bunch of static inner classes if that suits your style better nested folders: not neccessary at all, as long as the namespace is unique. arraylist: List.of

@htmx_org @std_venom @wimdeblauwe Yup, no hating here, the design choices that Thymeleaf made are not bad per se, but it's just very different from Jinja, Handlebars and the likes, which offer more freedom by not being a SGML templating language. More freedom to make a mess as well, ofc.
