Sunderland were promoted 7 weeks after us. Yet they absolutely blew us out of the water with recruitment. And we played them twice with half their team missing and took 1 point. Underwood, Farke, 49ers, and half the squad needs axing this summer

The missing context is that Leeds got away with a stonewall second yellow minutes earlier which left Sarr with a bloody mouth because the ref completely bottled it. Anyone who witnessed that would have celebrated like this too.

To me we need to revert to our best back three which includes Bijol alongside Rodon & Struijk-plus Longstaff instead of Gruev is worth a look given today’s performance all be it against a Championship side-good win though-could have had a few more! Home draw please #mot

@jbarrymon We played 6 of the top teams in last 10 games, I don't think failure to capitalise is a fair reflection on this run. Villa and Newcastle away could have been better results, but they are top teams. Sunderland imo the only failure. Will need over 40 points, unless someone folds

That puts us right back in the mix unfortunately but not unexpected after last nights result -we have to keep the faith-know we have the ability to get the points needed but both West Ham and Forest do aswell-we have missed opportunities to pull away 🙈#mot

@radio_bellers Totally agree- lucky to date that other results maintained the gap-but we failed to capitalise -it looks like West Ham & Forest are better equipped to nick a win than we are-I’ve said all along that it’s going to take the highest points total in a while to stay up -typical Leeds!

@jbarrymon It's also true to say results have gone our was for many weeks now. I mean I expected Forest to beat Wolves, West Ham to beat Brentford us to lose to Chelsea for example. Long way to get yet, quarter of the season. Will be more ups and downs yet
