Darkseid wins. The Darkseid you usually see battling Batman and Superman are avatars. They are an extremely weaker versions of Darkseid. For a start, Darkseid avatar is stronger than base level Thanos. It is important you know that the true body of Darkseid exists outside the multiverse in a realm called the Fourth World. This guy is so so powerful that the Flash once said that if he falls, he will take the entire multiverse with him. Like the guy falling down ends the entire multiverse. I am sorry but Thanos doesn’t have that particular vegetable sauce. True body Darkeid is multiversal. Thanos with the infinity stones is no match for him, even with the strongest version of Thanos, Astral Regulator or Heart of the universe Thanos, he will still lose, by the end of the day, he is still man trying to stand against a God. Like Darkseid clears Thanos without any difficulty.

Coz Darkseid has no version where he was able to absorb the source, that makes him less formidable to Thanos strongest form. If there is a form where Darkseid gain or absorb the source, hen he ll beat astral regulator thanos, if true form Darkseid is his strongest, he wont defeat astral regulator Thanos. Thats why I said, base level, Darkseid wins, but strongest forms, Thanos wins.

Nah, Astral regulator is omnipotent, he is existence himself, he can erase existence by just a thought. He absorbed TOAA, that in itself is a feat, TOAA is vastly more powerful than Darkseid true form. True form Darkseid though abstract, is still within a hierarchy (the presence/the source). Astral regulator Thanos is beyond hierarchy as he absorbed DC equivalence of (the presence/the source) who are vastly more powerful than true form Darkseid.

@jbarthrules Astral regulator Thanos or even Heart of the Universe still operates within a cosmic framework. Darkseid in his true form is the framework itself.

The strongest version of Darkseid is true form Darkseid. No other variant is stronger. Astral regulator Thanos is his strongest form and variant. Are going to say world breaker hulk is not hulk because it’s just one variant? Just as true form Darkseid is one of possible Darkseid versions, so is Astral regulator Thanos.
