I admire and respect all the work you do with reviews, but if I may suggest something, it would be to add more statuses, stages or labels if possible. It can be a bit misleading when a template stays “In Review” for three weeks. I also understand that you have a lot of templates to review and I’m trying to be as patient as possible, but maybe there’s a way to improve the cooperation and communication for both sides.

Every @framer marketplace template is manually reviewed before it ships. There’s a lot of the process people never see from the outside. Here’s some actual behind-the-scenes stuff 🧵

A shocking and disgusting discovery. Special thanks to @sekhsoyebali for finding this and informing me. Yesterday, I received a message from him telling me that one of my free templates was being resold on Etsy and a website called Alpha Design Global. This piracy brand is also taking other free templates published on Framer and illegally reselling them for profit. I was able to recognize free templates from @AndreaMontini being stolen and resold as well. I also saw several familiar template designs, but I don’t know who the original creators are. Please help spread awareness among creators. Check whether your free templates are being illegally resold and report them to the platforms — especially Lemon Squeezy and Gumroad — to protect your rights. @efftome These days, almost never. It used to happen, but now I can’t remember the last time it did, so it's pretty wide. I’ve been using it daily for almost 8 years now and can recommend it.

@jbcode_it Is its food base wide enough? I mean how often do you end up having to add your custom food?

What’s the worst app you use daily, but still can’t replace? I’ll start - MyFitnessPal for calorie tracking. Terrible UX, but the food database is so massive that it’s hard to find a real alternative.

@jbcode_it If people stay silent then sure we dont have influence. My issue is that I dont want to call out any specific templates. Harm to other creators is not goal. But yeah my life gets trickier. But guess need to do so good work that no lose ends.

Place your bets brave ones. What are the odds that Framer rejects this with a BS claim "Avoid orphan words" and same week accepts 7+ templates that clearly break their rules? I say 50-60 not in my favor

@WeekendVisuals This is what a perfect world would look like, but unfortunately it’s not. I totally agree that everyone should be treated equally, but we don’t really have any influence over it.

@jbcode_it I still believe that if it is open marketplace for everyone. Then same rules should apply to all. If one person gets a note that something needs to be fixed. Then rest should get the same treatment.

After how long did you get your first commission after selling @framer templates? I published my template 2–3 weeks ago. It has a few sales, but no commission so far. I know it’s really early and I’m not impatient, just curious 👀
