Rush's considerable length off the tee proved advantageous as he posted a casual 83. Anmol's birdie on the long 10th was noteworthy: all 4 group members had made a birdie after this bomb dropped. I went on to make a second birdie after sticking a touchy wedge inside a yard.

One week removed from Bally, today, the boys took on a lesser test: Pelham Bay. In the northeast corner of The Bronx, this 6300 yard municipal is home to painfully slow play and at least one coyote.

While I have absolutely no clue how the second foursome played, I do distinctly recall a Jon Stein signature club drop after a mediocre approach shot. Post round activities included Randolph Diner, Cliffs Ice cream, and a thorough tour of Randolph, NJ.

Day 2 of the Dolph Golf weekend did not disappoint. Taylor ham egg and cheese from Alfa's was an ideal way to set the stage for Ballyowen, a Scottish links inspired gem, which featured medium hot cart girls, high fescue, and men in NICKERS.

Interestingly, the 18 holes of golf turned out to be a wonderful pregame for the main event, Fudruckers, home of America's Greatest Hamburger. Was lovely to see Randolph's finest congregate at the all you can eat condiments bar. Looking forward to the state's #1 public gc tmr!

After making two groups into one, @JohnSmi44312174 had the shot of the day: a 170 par three put inside of a yard. Austin also successfully avoided the dreaded PBFU. @bachabachabacha also had an impressed bird.

The inaugural round of the LIV STEIN invitational was a scorcher. Two threesomes would later join forces as a 6 some as a result of slow play thanks to a cart path only policy at the Flanders Valley Blue White track.
