Sadly, the people in charge won't see or care about today's report because they're too busy picking fights with strangers and vague tweeting suicidal ideation from the social media account where they interact with the site's readers to care about their teams.

@elmayimbe Running Features with @lizziethat was such a joy, and I am so glad she is among the many people I worked with and still talk to from that era. The people who remain in charge at CBR, off the back of our hard work, do not deserve the respect Valnet wants you to give them.

Briefly breaking Twitter hiatus to praise @elmayimbe and this incredible report. Also to add that I never met Mars because he's a fucking coward who had George Edelman and Brad Davis fire us for standing up for our writers and editors rather than meet us after he took over.

That being said, I'm grateful to have had the opportunity, and I loved working with all of you who reached out with opportunities. I'll share what my next moves are at a later date!

Today's my last day with Dexerto. I'm not going to make a big deal about it, as I, unlike a dozen or so of my co-workers this week, have the luxury of leaving on my own terms.

Thank you again to anyone who ever read anything I or my team wrote. I wouldn't change anything (well, maybe the ending!), but I'm sure as hell not done yet. I don't know what's next, but you can't get rid of me that easy. (31/31)

Apologies for this massive thread, but it turns out I have a lot to say. It feels weird writing a moratorium on my time with CBR. I don't know that I had illusions of spending my entire career there, but I certainly thought, at the very least, I'd leave on my own terms. (1/31)
