The condition of NH-26 (Koraput–Jeypore–Potangi stretch) has become a serious public safety and connectivity issue. Incomplete culvert work and continuous rains have turned the road into deep mud, causing vehicles to get stranded, severe traffic jams, vehicle damage, delays in reaching hospitals, and missed trains & flights. The people of Koraput and thousands of daily commuters deserve safe and motorable roads. We urge the Government of Odisha and the concerned authorities to take immediate action to restore NH-26 before the situation worsens.
